Spent a lovely long weekend in Paris sightseeing and being big kids at Disneyland. Tried to cram in as much as possible including a visit to the Pantheon - well worth a look see, the inside is beautiful.

Today I had a go at the Random Word Challenge that came with a magazine called Elsie.  The aim was to google a word for images and select a range as your palette and create a illustration from them.

My word was: RAPID.

I am continuing to explore and make more collages for the Picture Perfect? body of work. Therefore I have created a Tumblr to document new collages.

Astronomy in the Pub

Last Weekend we went along to Astronomy in the Pub at Horns Lodge in South Chailey.  The the lack of light pollution and the clear night made the sky look amazing.

The next day at a car boot we found a book called Timothy's Space Book, it has some pretty cool illustrations.

Last October I found out I was one of three, who had won a competition to design an illustration for Ally Capellino's shop bags.  The theme was "2012, how do you see it?"  Well my design Runners is now available to buy online here!!!

Brighton Toy and Model Museum

Today we went to Brighton's Toy and Model Museum found beneath the railway station. Had a lovely time lots of amazing miniatures! Especially the zoo and circus displays, and of course really enjoyed watching the trains running around and around!
