Here are some initial doodles i created to help me generate ideas for my character design project. We were given a selecting of poems by Edward Lear and asked to develop 3 characters.






My original ink doodles evolved into these strange creatures.

At the start of the year we were given a brief to create a stop-frame animation around the theme of cause and effect. Naturally I decided to do an animation about a needle chasing a snake. It seemed the most logical thing to do, of course.

The book I made is on the WSA website. Instead of being feature on the illustration pathway my work has been put on the photography page. What doughnuts! But still yay!

This is the first project I did last year. The brief was to produce a zine about the uni campus. I love paper so I began collecting scraps and cutoffs from around the site as well as taking some photographs. I cut out objects from the photos that had interesting silhouettes. These were thn collaged together with the found papers. Hence the name "Leftovers."
